Graystar

Graystar is a post-hardcore/rock/punk band that enjoys changing rhythms and intricate guitar work. They play the type of music that young people of today like to listen to, each song includes hard rock with a political and social edge. These are known as the trademarks of the band.They have quite a bit of professional experience and have performed as an opening band for other bands, such as The Used, Finch, Story Of The Year, Bosstones, and Good Charlotte. The band has done Warp Tour shows, Skate & Surf, voice work on The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and MTV's Parkfest.The leader of the band is 18 year old Dylan Wilcox. He is also the songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist of the band. He has been working with punk bands since he was 10 years old. His sister, Chelsea, sometimes plays guitar and even sings with the band at concerts and she also did voice work with the other band members on an animated TV show.Casey Gandham is the current lead guitarist, replacing former member Kevin Gruft. He is 17 years old, and the newest addition to Graystar.Steve Simpson has been playing with Graystar for 3 years; he plays the drums. Steve and Dylan have known each other since they were little kids.When not playing music for the band, all of the members like to skateboard, and in the winter--snowboard.
